Tips, tricks, and advice on finding the industry's hottest technical talent

Fabrications on online dating sites ... and job boards ...

An upcoming Cornell University study on online dating reports that most men and women tend to embellish their stats when listing height, weight, and age on their online profiles.  Since you often hear new job sites compared to online dating sites, a similar conclusion might be drawn about resumes or job descriptions.  What do you most often find jobseekers embellishing?  In my experience, it's usually technical skills (all those buzz words, oh my!), length of prior employment (vague dates with no months listed = red flag), and scope of responsibility.  What do you look out for?
