That's easy.  Find the highest paid person or the most visible person you know, that DOES NOT work for your current employer, and ask that person that you would like to review their resume, because the role that they have is the role you eventually seek, and you are looking for resume ideas.  Ask this question to 3-5 people, and review their resumes, for ideas on how to land your dream job.

 Also, only put in your resume what you have done, that you want to do again.

 Otherwise, people may offer you jobs doing stuff you have already done, that you don't want to do again.

Thanks Larry these are great suggestions.  I think if you approach the right people in your career area and look at their resumes it is very possible to greatly improve your resume. 

Obviously you shouldn't copy any of their skills that you don't have but you can format your skills in a similar way.
